Vanda Pleated Trouser | Pearl Moon Flower

A sculptural linen trouser defined by movement and line. Cut in navy linen with a high-waisted, tailored silhouette, this piece features a full-volume wide leg shaped by double pleats. The original garment’s clean structure provides a strong foundation for expressive surface work. A single large orchid is hand embroidered on the right side, while vine-like wiggled couching stitches run from top to bottom along the side seam in contrasting light blue thread, creating a striking vertical pattern that is mirrored on the opposite leg. The rhythmic embroidery transforms classic tailoring into an elegant statement of craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade and reimagined. This trouser began as a Lulu Zagame garment and has been reimagined by Pearl Moon Flower. The transformation includes hand embroidery and couching stitch detailing applied along both legs of the garment. Carefully sourced materials were used to extend the garment’s life through circular design.
