Athena Pleated Trouser | Pearl Moon Flower

A tailored linen trouser softened by expressive hand embroidery. Cut in peach linen with a high-waisted, tailored silhouette, this piece features a full-volume wide leg shaped by double pleats. The original garment’s clean structure provides a strong foundation for detailed surface work. A single large rose is hand embroidered on the right side, while vine-like wiggled couching stitches run from top to bottom along the side seam in contrasting deep red thread, mirrored on the opposite leg and interspersed with the scattered words “I love you.” The layered embroidery transforms classic tailoring into an emotionally charged statement piece. This trouser began as a Lulu Zagame garment and has been reimagined by Pearl Moon Flower. The transformation includes hand embroidery, couching stitch detailing, and scattered text embroidery applied across both legs. Carefully sourced materials were used to extend the garment’s life through circular design.
