Vanda Tailored Waistcoat | Pearl Moon Flower

A tailored linen waistcoat defined by precision and expressive handwork. Cut in navy linen with a sleeveless silhouette, this piece is shaped through princess seams for a close, sculpted fit. The structured base provides a clean foundation for detailed surface intervention. A single large orchid is hand embroidered on the left side, while vine-like wiggled couching stitches wrap from beneath the flower, across the back, and onto the opposite front in a contrasting light blue thread. The fluid embroidery transforms classic tailoring into a refined statement of craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade and reimagined. The transformation includes hand embroidery and couching stitch techniques applied across the front and back of the piece. Carefully sourced materials were used to extend the garment’s life through circular design.
